If you cannot wait for GTAV play this

You are excited and you cannot wait to get your hands on GTA5. (I know, me too)!

Quickly re-watch the GTAV trailer here and then watch the next video below it. All joking aside though, I'm serious about replaying this game. Because I have a challenge for you!


Try playing them both together! Synchronize the sound track or just mute one video!

OK, replay GTA4, but this time, see if you can play through it without killing innocents, or not stealing any cars, (Don't do the steal-cars-to-order for Stevie. (Boats and helicopter thefts do not count as 'auto's')).  So, the end result is, it will be NOT-GTA! NO GRAND THEFT of AUTOS!



Try not to kill pigeons, or pedestrians. Or pick up medi-kit, (use only soda and eating to refill your life). Its all harder than you think! The moment your concentration or patience lapses, someone will be getting dragged from a car, killed or both! When these moments happened for me, I took the opportunity to run riot for a half hour to get it out of my system. Then I'd reload the last save and continue on my quest, not to steal, kill or cause injury.

Here it is again!


One of the hardest things to do, is not run down pedestrians. Somehow, I failed and lost the plot here. I didn't even realise that I'd run down so many people, until I was looking through my game saves, trying to go back to a time when I had not run anyone down. (I was doing so well too, but dropped the ball somewhere and I was too far into the game to restart it from the beginning). I used three game saves, so that I could always go back if I needed to. I managed to not steal any cars and get through to game complete in GTA4! (Except for the pedestrians run down, (just a little slip))!

TIPS: Use roman's taxi jobs, to provide you with cars and always keep a stock of cars at all parking areas outside your safe houses. Even the safe-houses you do not yet own can still take a parked car, even Playboy-X's pad whilst Playboy-X is still living there!

Boats are not autos and shall not count in this challenge. Also, when you do boating sight-seeing trips with Brucie, Brucie's boat goes on your 'boats-stolen-stats', as does the boats in missions, like where one of the McReary's brings a boat for you to pilot and again in the Florian's boating-date mission. So, you cannot get through the game to missions complete without stealing boats. (Similar with Helicopters).

Next, the side missions like Romans Taxi jobs provide you with cars, even the ones from Romans second cab company, driven by Romans other taxi-drivers. Just drag them out of the car if you wish, you get no-stolen car record on your stats!

Side missions like LJ's drug delivery missions, can also provide you with cars but are on timed missions, (choose not to do them at all if you wish). Also, these drug deliveries can be done in your own vehicle, if you have a faster car or don't want to drive the old junk LJ gives you. Just get in and get out of the cars parked down the side of LJ's pool-game club. The package goes in your pocket, not the car.

Brucies steal to order cars are free of stolen car stats too, but not the ones you steal for his friend Stevie. I used some of the vehicles stolen for Brucie, to do dates in and generally drive about in before taking to Brucies auto shop.

Keep checking your start after each car you get into to make sure you do not break you target goal. One last point is that you can steal any car that is near enough to push into your parking area with another car. Then smash the windows without getting in it.

Next drive right away (far enough), and then return to it if you have another car, or just run away and return. You can now get into the car, without getting a stolen car put onto your stats record. (Its a bit like cheating, but who cares, I even did this with the police-car parked down the street from Romans first pad, many times though-out the game)

Have fun, and that should keep you entertained until GTA V comes out. Let me know if you complete it.
