What's in GTAV?
GTA5 Characters.
There are three main characters in the story, (this has not been done before in any of the previous GTA games). The story lines of each character will intertwine and cross paths a bit like Niko, Luis and Johnny's did in the GTA4 series.
You switch between the three main GTA5 characters when ever you like and they all continue with their own separate lives within the GTA5 game-world, when you are not playing as them.
Switching between characters is done with a cinematic that zooms out of the character that you are playing and then back in to the new chosen character. (Rather like zooming in and out of Google Earth, as Gamersheep puts it)!
Michael is aged mid 40's / White American / Retired Bank Robber / Trying to go straight / Two children and hates his wife /
Michael is retired, early 40s, a highly successful former bank robber. He retired in luxury after making a deal with the FIB. He's in the FIB witness protection program.
Michael hates his wife who spends his money and hates him too. He doesn't understand his two teenage kids Tracy and Jimmy, and is forced back into the game as his money is fast running out.
Trevor / aged early 40's / White American / Pilot / War Veteran / Druggie / Crazy /
Trevor is a career criminal, in his early 40s, he's a drug user, prone to crazy and violent outbursts and destructive rampages. He knows Michael from when he used to do bank jobs with him before Michael cut his FIB deal.
Trevor is a loose cannon, dangerous to be around. A former military pilot, he is always up for a heist. Trevor is described as having a "maniacal personality".
Trevor lives in Blaine County, a barren, rundown desert region filled with bikers, meth heads and other people from the fringes of society.
Franklin.Franklin (or Franklyn) / Espanic-Latino in Mid 20's / Repo Man and Hustler / Works At Luxury Car Dealership /
Franklin, a repo man in his mid 20s, is a young and ambitious hustler. He stumbles into meeting Michael whilst looking for a hustle.
Franklin works for an Armenian luxury car dealership selling cars to those who can't afford them. When they cannot or don't pay-up. he plays 'repo-man'. repossessing the cars.
Franklin is first seen on Vespucci Beach, looking for a car he's looking to reposes.
GTA5 CREWS.
GTAV will have 'Crews' instead of Gangs, you take various crew members with you on bank jobs. Then they share in the loot or you pay them from the haul.
You can recruit people off the street, people you meet or are introduced to you. This is very much like I talked about years ago and hoped the RockStarGames would put into the game.
Each character has their own separate skills, we have not been told what the various abilities are, but guess that some characters may be good at brawling or driving, others have skills like shooting or safe cracking.
Vehicles.
All the vehicles are here, the BMX is back and so are planes! RockStarGames said that they have made the vehicles 'stick' to the road better. That's great, so long as they have not altered the basic driving physics of the cars.
I hoped that the main problem RockStar could have fixed, like the traffic system, where cars would get stuck at lights or just drive in circuits around the block. I hope RockStar have fixed the Taxi ride issues, where your taxi driver crashes and smashes into other cars without any penalty.
Or, like a Taxi ride, your driver could crash into cop-cars and nothing happened, no-police wanted level or anything. The police should stop and arrest the driver, or he could randomly take you on an unscheduled mystery tour as he tries to outrun the police!
