Saints Row: The Third - Mission 31 - Convoy Decoy
Well, yes, I know we had the Hydra in CJ's GTA-SA, but there were lots of things in San Andreas that were a little stupid. For the most part RockStarGames got most of the game right.
They lost direction a little for me when they had CJ collecting horse-shoes and oysters, but the tagging-up the turf was brilliant and realistic for a gang type gangster game.
R* lost the plot again a little in GTA4, when they had Niko shooting Pigeons! What the funk was that about? Can you imagine this tough gangster type, 50c Type, going round shooting pigeons?
We want normal, (or what would be considered normal for a gangster), type activities that are realistic, to immerse the player into a lifelike world. It is all about escapism and role-play, becoming the character in the game!

So, the next comment is nothing to do with the video per-se' but to point out, as an example, this is exactly the type of thing WE DO NOT WANT in any type of GTA game!
It is great stuff, great fun and (Its OLD game play), It reminds me of back to the days of my youth, playing in an arcade.
This mission is so much like so many of the past 2D games we used to play 20 years ago. What goes around, comes around! (Just with better graphics).
My point is that it is entirely different to GTA. I mention that because, lots of people keep making comparisons between the two. SEE the VIDEO BELOW!
I think the only things you can compare are the way the graphics and game-engine works. As for actual things in the game like weapon, vehicle and mission types, it is a totally different game.
