I'm getting sick of deez damn gangs, smashin up de streets, damaging carz an breaking windows.
Mostly, deez fools are also killing my potential customers and driving people away from my businesses.
I have tried to reason with dem and get dem on my side. Dey should look after their own areas but dey just want to play loud music in the streets and run their cars up and down terrorizing all de ordinary people in de area.
Dese are the youths of today, trying to make a name for themselves. They don't care about their parents and often terrorize an cause trouble for dem too. But, who is it dey call to get dem out of de chit? Who is it dey expect to provide food on de table and a roof over day heads?
Dey have de crazy notion dat everyone who tries to help dem, is "The-Man", The-Man is out to get you, The-Man wants to make us is bitch ini't. Dey blame the-man for everyting! But, dey should remember dat when dey have one finger pointing outward at others, de other three fingers are pointing back at demselves.

The only solution is to kill dem all off an set dem crazy fools against one another in de hope dey all kill each other off, den I will go in and finish-off de last of de trouble makers myself!

This is a great mod, and something we should hopefully get back in the next GTA games.
However, I would like to see the gang activity to be more in the style of Mafia2, with families and right-hand men, or henchmen.
Your gang would be recruited from the general population, re the public, as and when you meet people. Also, people you get to know, would in-turn, know other-people, etc. You would start off knowing very little about each person, (actually peds or pedestrians), that you meet on your travels.
After talking and meeting with them for the first time, you might have the opportunity to get or swap telephone numbers with them. You might be in a relationship where you are able to help them with their problems and tasks, or where they can help you, by doing stuff for you. This is how you get your main workforce.

People who come to work for you, will bring a CV (in game it is actually a stats card with limited information on it, that updates and news character traits are added as time passes and as they learn new things). You can give people training or send them for training with others, to improve their skills. Skills like shooting, stealing / burglary, driving / forging / guarding. etc.
Other traits would be things like physique and fitness, (or lack of it). They would also have other traits that they come to you with, that you can improve also, but would take combination's of skills to upgrade.
These are things like fear, bravery, love, creativity, tidiness, logic, specialization talent, (like sharp-shooter or getaway driver, accountant or lawyer even). Other traits like punctuality, (being on time for work or that important getaway from the bank), hard-working, loyalty, sense of dress and fashion, appearance and self-worth and esteem. Stamina, strength and speed and everything else I cannot think of right now!
At first, you get people to do one-off jobs for you and if they do well, you can expand to using them for more tasks, like working for you as an employee or a henchman. Henchmen get paid more and differently, usually cash in hand, whereas, employees get paid regular wages usually via a bank accounts, but can also be cash depending upon what stage your various businesses are at.
If you look in the various GTA business ideas posts throughout the blog you will see more about what employees and henchmen can do. That's it for now..
