Resources Ideas for New GTA game

Resources Used for Main Ideas for NewGTAgame.

The main ideas for this game are taken from all the past GTA's and some of the other prominent games the author has played. A big fan of the original Driver, Driver3, Driver Parallel Lines, Stuntman and Stuntman2, Hitman series, Saints Row (crap) and Saints Row2 (twice the crap), The Godfather 1 & 2, Sopranos - Road to Respect, Reservoir Dogs, Bully - (Canis Canem Edit), Scarface - The World is Yours, Mafia and now Mafia2. Red Dead Redemption (GTH - Grand Theft Horseo).



Outside of those, I'm into F1 racing sims so I appreciate the car handling qualities of the GTA series and play my latest F1 2010, Forza2, had all the Collin McRae Rally games, Need for Speed, outrun, Burnout 1 & 2, Midnight Club 1, 2 & 3, etc to name a few. Over on the far side, I like strategy games like Stronghold, 1 & 2, The Sims Deluxe (on computer), The Settlers, Praetorians, Cossacks, Dune, Age of Empires. All the Civilization series, Transport Giant, Theme Hospital, and Rail Road Tycoon series.

I've played all of the Socom NS series, Conflict Desert Storm, Vietnam, All the Metal Gear series, Ghost Recon, Black Hawk Down, Dropship, Battlestations: Midway, Call of Juarez, All the Call of Duty series and Tom Clancy's Rainbow series, Lost Planet, Halo3, Army of Two and Army of 2 40th Day, All of the Resident Evil's, Dead to Rights, Avatar, Assassins Creed 1 & 2 and many other games. Not to mention all of the Microsoft Flight sims, so I'm pretty well clued up when it comes to the feel of car handling and game play.

And Saints Row is not as good as GTA! So who are you trying to kid you Saints Row fans? The only good thing to take from SR is the err, there's the, erm, nothing; there is nothing great or original. The story line is crap. The car handling is crap, as it is also with WheelMan. What a waste of money that WheelMan crap was and a waste of a good title for what should have been an epic game. Its like they just must have thought, 'lets bang out any old crap, the gaming public will swallow it'. Well, we won't!
